Volunteering in our projects

We cooperate with various establishments, all of which are easily accessible from our hostel. On your first day of volunteering, we will introduce you to your placement.

The projects we offer are all well evaluated, and we also visit them regularly to ensure a lasting impact to the society.

Of course, you’re also welcome to immerse yourself in several projects, or support the projects. Our aim hereby is: intercultural exchange and mutual learning.

Healthcare Worker in a Hospital (Medical internships in areas such as paediatrics, gynecology, and surgery)

Are you in the middle of your studies, or are you looking for practical experience after graduation? Nurses, Doctors, Midwives and Therapists welcome!
You can choose the department you would like to support — medical care, patient assistance, maternity care, or surgical support.
Please note: All hospitals in Tanzania require a mandatory contribution of 50 USD per week from volunteers to help cover supervision, administration, and other operational costs. This fee is paid directly to the hospital.

You will assist local teachers by teaching basic English, reading, writing and other subjects depending on your interests and skills. You may also help children with homework, organize creative activities, play educational games, sing songs, or simply spend time with them.

Women Rescue Home, Women Empowerment or Community Outreach Projects: Dispensary Clinic for HIV patients, victims of female genital mutilation or rape with pregnancy and family planning

You may also help create a safe and encouraging environment where women can share experiences, learn new skills, and gain confidence..

Environmental project: tree planting, Nanofilter & Biogas

We cooperate with the Nanofilter House in Arusha, which is building and installing water filters to ensure the people a safe and clean drinking water. The water in Tanzania has a very high level of fluoride, which causes severe bone deformities and also teeth problems and other infections like typhoid or hepatitis. In rainy season, we plant trees in masai villages to protect our environment, spend shadow and build new ressources.
