We believe in sustainable support, intercultural exchange and mutual learning in order to provide a long-term impact in Arusha, Tanzania.

​Our projects support orphaned children, underprivileged families and other communities in Arusha through education, healthcare support and sustainable developement.

​Since 2022, we have hosted more than 400 international volunteers and work closely with more than 15 local institutions in Arusha.

Through a variety of programs – from after school tutoring and education sponsorships to health workshops and community awareness initiatives – Giving Hands fosters meaningful connections between our team, volunteers and local people. Volunteers can engage in hands-on projects such as teaching, childcare, community awareness and education, social care and creating a real impact while building understanding across cultures.

The local staff works closely with our volunteers in planning and delivering projects that are aligned with community needs and priorities.

We support our volunteers with safe and affordable accomodation, orientation and continuous guidance to ensure ethically responsible engagement.
